government of india constituted a gandhi heritage sites panel with eminent
gandhians. Based on the recommendation of the panel the gandhi heritage sites
mission with a fixed term of 5 years was created in 2013 with a total budget
outlay of ₹
42 crores. The period of mission has been extended till march
2020 world focus magazine.
